Method
- In a skillet, combine ground beef, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Brown until the beef is completely cooked. Stir in the ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar. Remove from heat.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a baking sheet. Cut in half lengthwise, then cut three times widthwise to form eight rectangles.
- Spoon the sloppy joe mixture evenly over the eight rectangles, a few tablespoons each, and top each with a cheese stick.
- Roll the dough around the meat and cheese, pinching the seams closed along the middle and at the ends. Flip sticks so the seam-side is down on the sheet pan.
- Combine the melted butter and garlic salt (optional) and brush over the dough.
- Bake at 425°F for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Notes
Make-ahead friendly: assemble and bake, then store in an airtight container or zip-top bag for up to 3 days. Great for after-school snacks and packed lunches. Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F for 5 minutes or in the microwave in 30-second until heated through.
